I'll Build a House For Your Bones

So I had a MAJOR Spring Winter clean today. Pulled out everything from my room, got rid of all the rubbish and old paper (filled 5 plastic bags!) and found I seem to have a resident behind my desk with a sweet tooth. I have been hearing noises there for nights, and first of all I freaked out, then realised it must just be a mouse. So today I pulled my desk out and found a half eaten fredo frog behind!! It's ok cuz I live in a farm so mouses inside are acceptable hahaah! And i ain't a girly girl who'd scream if I saw one. Hopefully it doesn't come back though now that everything's clean. So... what it takes to ACTUALLY make me clean my room - a mouse infestation. OKAY it's not an infestation, but whatever. I had fun cleaning. I was in the mood for it which was good... while rocking out to Jack White and LCD Soundsystem. Now I've pulled down all my posters and am gonna rearrange them on the same wall, just for a change. Oh and I painted my nails, seems to be one thing I do first day of EVERY holidays :P Black ofc. Now I've got a clean room :) Hopefully it'll be more relaxing. At least mum won't be nagging me anymore.

Girl love - Sarah Hudson

So I fell in love with this babe during my underground electro music phase in 2008 (when I first joined last.fm)

 The first band I found and fell in love with was Electric Valentine, but soon after I found Ultraviolet Sound through EV, and immediately loved it. They are edgy, fresh and ELECTRO.

 Sarah is amazing, she's confident, hot, talented and unique. And the beats her and her boy (back then boys) blast are just pure awesomness!

 She rocks it onstage, with her vibrant red hair everywhere, it looks like an AWESOME show I have yet to see... hoepfully one day they are either in Australia or I'm where they are.

 Even though my 'phase' is over, I still love EV, and others like Hyper Crush who I found at the same time, but UVS will always have a special place in my music library :P and heart <3

...actually it's mainly just dad's music taste... he passed most of it onto me. I've got a few of my new little awesome bands I love... but he's got me majorly into hard rock, blues rock and just plain ROCK N ROLL.

FOR WINTER. Haha not quite as awesome as Summer but still. And I only get 2 weeks off :O Oh well... last day was pretty boring. Said good bye the lady in the office who's leaving, she's such a sweetheart, always SO nice and friendly, she was almost crying when we gave her her gifts. And she hugged me, aww she'll be missed so much.
So... holidays. Got like nothing planned. I'm sick of staying in the house though so I HAVE to get out sometime. Scary Movie nights, dinners and random 'dates' hopefully. (Perhaps even a real one.......)

Kasabian

Fooking Kasabian man. These boys are seriously my favourite band and I doubt that will ever change. These talented bunch o' blokes from LEICESTER are fookin incredble EMPIREEE. And so so SOOO amazing live.

Ian Matthews: This drummer is one badass guy. Not really, he seems really sweet and genuine, but his DRUMMING is badass. And the energy he puts into it, it's amazing to watch and even more amazing to be in his presence while he is rockin out. Love 'im. Oh and he WILL run the country one day....apparently.

Chris Edwards: Chris. Like seriously, he is one cool dude :P Serge once said he's like the glue of the band. I can see that. He's so chill and awesome onstage. And the way he kills that bass, especially in Vlad live... GAHHH!! 'Mazin stuff.

Sergio Pizzorno: FOCKIN SERGE. What can I say. He's.... brilliant. As the bands songwriter, I mean, he's one crazily talented and amazin bloke. His guitar skills and sexy voice just make Kasabian. And he's sooo incredibly amazingly sexy. Just look at him. And his eyes.... GAH that piercing gaze!!! I felt like he was looking into my soul.... that was one amazing moment, I really felt like we connected. That's right, me and Serge have a special connection. I've got photo PROOF.... kindaa.

Tom Meighan: Ahhh my husband. My beautiful, amazing, talented boyy. Fuck I love him too much. Everything about him is amazing. His raw incredible talent and voice of PURE SEX. His style, swagger and even his ego. Onstage he kills it. It's one of the most amazing things to see, he rocks the stage like he owns it - cuz he does! He's the most focking incredible frontman and I love him. His face, accent, voice, hair, sexy body, eyes, mouth, arms, legs..... siiiiiiighhh. I love him, and he was literally a meter away from me... seriously like THE most amazing night everr.

Oh and how can I forget Jay Mehler: he was only made an official touring member of the band last year, but maaannn he's good. He was right in front of me for the whole thing, lookin cool in all black and his sunnies. <3

Overall this band is amazing. FULL STOP.

The Dead Weather

Need I say more? This band supergroup is simply amazing. They have done so much for me.
WHY I LOVE THEM:

Dean Fertita: Ahhh Dean, he's incredibly talented, been in so SO many bands and also incredibly sexxyyy, I mean come on, he's fucking 40!!

Jack Lawrence (LJ): He's talented, funny, strange and again, talented! and seriously, what bands HASN'T he been in?

Alison Mosshart: Oh god... don't get me started, everything about this badass bitch I love.. all of it! She's inspired me SOOO much, and her voice, style, the way she acts, and her insane talent all add to the awesomness of The Dead Weather. I'll stop talking now before this becomes a "I'M A MOSSBIAN" post.

And finally Jack White: Jack. Fucking. White. God this man is just..... HNfgwijAOsxjhcbujchqw! He was already a rock GOD before The Dead Weather began, but seriously, everything he does turns to something more amazing than gold. His guitar playing, drum playing, HIS SEXY VOICE, and him just being alive make this world, and more specifically rock music, better. Look at him, his sexiness and swagger. He's amazing. Nuff said. Jack, I love you.

Well it didn't become an "I'M A MOSSBIAN" post, became more of a bloody tribute to Jack, but he deserves all of it ;) I'm bored, so i might do this for all my favourite bands....

So my new plan for 2012

Last night I wanted to go to the University of Queensland and do a dual degree, one of science majoring in Geology and the other in journalism. But now I've changed my mind, I wanna go to the Queensland University of Technology and do a Bachelor of Applied Science, majoring in Geoscience and co-majoring in Astrophysics. That way I might be able to go to Antarctica, and I also LOVEEE astronomy... but UQ only offers it as a unit in a major of physics. So yeah... that's it for now... it'll probably change by tomorrow!! hahaa <3

I had a dream last night where I went into this AWESOME store. So it caught my eye cuz it had a poster of Alison in the window (god im obsessed) and i went into and some stuff was too "princess polly" for me, but the other stuff was awesome indie/ rocker style. But then i went up to the lady and asked if they had any "alison inspiried/ style stuff" and she just said no. And i was like "Well why do you have her in your window!?" so i went out and i see Alison and Jack whtie actually walking together across the road, arm in arm. So i run over and say "Seriously that store had nothing" and i hooked arms with Alison and we started talking like i had been with them the whole time! It was kinda awesome :P I wish i spent more time in the store though, cuz it was actually pretty good, but they were closing.

God I love this girl. She's cute and funny and gorgeous... pretty much perfect. Mum even told me I looked like her once... A kinder thing has never been said to me!Hahhaa but I love her style and classic look. She always looks perfect. I love her. And her music... AH it's so beautiful. A breath of fresh air! Why do you always make a big deal out of nothing? What's happening on Thursday doesn't affect you AT ALL. And don't you DARE lecture me about priorities... I have mine set straight, and you may not like it, but get the fuck over it. I'm living and going to school and learning to get a job for ME. No one else, and no one can try to influence me. There's no point lecturing me about my education, when i have it set in my mind so strongly, and I know what i wanna do with my life, so GET. OVER. IT. And open your eyes and start to see that in actual fact, I am NOT the terrible daughter you make me out to be, i help around the house and garden, i dont go out partying and drinking and smoking and having sex and all that shit, i NEVER demand, or even ask, for money, i don't always go out and i don't expect you to do whatever i want, and i DO appreciate you. There are way worse people my age than me, so start to fucking realise, you aren't so hard done by. And start to chill out and stop worrying about everything...

Let's talk Taylor Momsen. She's been getting media attention everywhere, for being 'slutty' a 'bad role model' and all that kind of shit, but seriously guys. She's less than a year older than me. HEEAAPS of people my age (and younger) have already done it all, sex, drugs, alcohol and more, and yet people focus on this one girl, cuz she's in the spotlight. Yeah, she may be a 'bad role model' to a certain extent, but if you're gonna label HER that, why not look at fucking society in general! At least she knows what she does is making her get this label, cuz, as she said, she didn't get into this business to BE a role model. She's doing what she loves and she doesn't care what people think, and why should she? I'm sick of people caring so much about what other people think.
